About Me

My name is Vikki Levy and I am a Certified Play Therapist working in Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay. I have almost 20 years experience working with children and families in education and social care settings.

I am passionate about supporting families to provide a healthy environment in which children can develop and grow. I believe in the importance of strong attachments and nurturing relationships to enable children to thrive.

As an Early Years Teacher, I understand the need for children to have resilience and good self-image in order to learn. More recently working in Children’s Centres, supporting parents, I have experienced the variety and complexity of family life and the impact emotional well-being can have on all family members.

I am a member of Play Therapy UK and work to the PTUK Ethical Standards Clinical Governance. All my clinical work (play therapy) with children is fully supervised by a qualified and experienced Clinical Supervisor on regular and on-going basis. I am on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
